Minutes of Sept 8, 2005:� Minutes from� General Membership Meeting dated 9/8/05 were approved as presented.

 

President Bond Hill Community Council � Mr. Aaron Fairbanks invited all to their Festival on October 15, 11 AM � 10 PM. Also announced Bond Hill is getting 13 cameras; with one located at Seymour and Reading.

 

Fire Report: Capt. Lou Arnold reported 398 runs, 14 building fires in September. Fire Dept. is reaching 78% of their calls in 4 minutes. Urged voting no on Issue 9 (property tax rollback).

 

Police Report: Specialist Charles Dukes reported continuation of �breaking and entering� in small and mid-size businesses; also �column jobs� on Chrysler and mid 80�s GM vehicles. Also talked of drug problems

 

COMMITTEE REPORTS:

 

Beautification: Ed Moser reported parolees (Adult Parole Authority) will help with litter pick up on Oct. 22

 

Business Assoc: Nancy Sunnenberg reported Roselawn Business Association met October 12. Next meeting will be November 16, 2 PM at Roselawn Lutheran Church. Building inspectors are reviewing conditions in Reading Road corridor.

 

Cincinnati Recreation Center: Carole Douglas sent report of Harvest Festival at the Bond Hill Rec Center, Oct. 28, 6:30 PM.

 

Education: Pam Griffith spoke on RC renovation; next meeting on Oct. 27, 6:00 PM

 

Law & Safety / CPOP : Charles Houston brought back lots of materials and ideas from a recent conference. Contact him at 236-7216 or 652-2929

 

Litter: Gary Moffett, Oct. 22 is Make a Difference Day. Meet at 9:30 AM at library for litter pick up

 

Library : Nancy Sampson reporting. Library Card challenge continues. Library expects to move to Jordan Crossing. Exec. Director will be with us next month to discuss move.

 

 

NSP: Tricia Davis reported the need for a new chairperson for NSP funds.

 

 

 

Web site: Lori Buxton is searching for a writer for articles, news

Cancer Awareness Month � Grace Wilson invited participation in the Oct. 16 walk along Ohio River �Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
